Although a number of human activities are conducted underwater, such as scuba diving for recreation, this very extensive environment on planet earth is hostile to humans in many ways and therefore little explored. Coral reefs have been explored more and contain some of the highest diversity of life known. Photographing this environment can be very exciting and sometimes technically difficult. The results, however, help reveal a part of the world not seen by many. |
